SERDANG, April 14 - The Office of the Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has organised the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) Launching Ceremony, which was launched by UPM Vice-Chancellor, YH. Professor Dato’ Dr. Mohd. Roslan Sulaiman, at the Dewan Taklimat Serdang here.
Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohd. Roslan Sulaiman said among the objectives of EKSA are to create a conducive environment, enhance the corporate image and boost creativity and innovation activities.
"The essence found in EKSA is also in line with the University's intention to implement comprehensive green sustainability activities or programmes throughout the UPM campus, green campus and tower of knowledge to support the UI-Green Metric Rating.
"The implementation of Workplace Environment Quality is also one of the evaluation criteria for the UPM Administration Management Star Rating Award since 2014 until now," he said.
He added that the implementation of EKSA in Centres of Responsibility (PTJ) in UPM requires a strong commitment by involving careful planning, effective implementation, transparent monitoring, structured improvement and continuous practices of good work culture.
"The spirit of togetherness and collective effort of everyone in the UPM community is key to achieving everything planned, especially those in the UPM Strategic Plan," he said.
Also present were the Director of the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA), Prof. Dr. Amin Ismail, Director of the Centre for Corporate Strategy and Relations, Prof. Dr. Azmawani Abd Rahman, Director of the Sports Academy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tajularipin Sulaiman, Director of the Occupational Safety and Health Management Office, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Rafee Baharudin, Director of the Centre for Management of Waqf, Zakat and Endowment, Assoc.
