BATU PAHAT, Feb 18 – UPM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan Sulaiman, has met with a Bachelor of Human Development Science student from the Faculty of Human Ecology (FEM), UPM, Nur Sara Mohd Sani, who is also from the B40 family here.
Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan has presented the donation in the form of a laptop, RM200 cash, and a box of food aid.
Also present was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), UPM, Prof. Dr. Arifin Abdu.
Nur Sara said she was very grateful to UPM for the donation.
“This donation will be able to help me, and I will utilise it for the use of my studies,” she said.
Head of Student Affairs Division (BHEP), UPM, Nuruliman Ibrahim, said the programme was one of the initiatives to help UPM B40 students throughout Malaysia.
“With this help, we hope it will be more or less helping UPM students from B40 families to succeed in their studies,” she said.
Meanwhile, five UPM students from other B40 families in the district of Batu Pahat, Johor, had also received aid from BHEP, UPM. - UPM
