SERDANG, Jan 13 - The Foundation of Agricultural Science Programme (ASPer), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), became the first meeting point for a married couple, Muhammad Mujib Khairul Amri and Ainin Farah Hannan Rosli. They have recently graduated at the 44th UPM Convocation Ceremony here.

Despite being in different faculties and programmes, Muhammad Mujib, a student of Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours from the School of Business and Economics (SPE), while Ainin Hannan, a student of Bachelor of Biomedicine with Honours from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK), it was not a barrier for the couple to graduate together as husband and wife with distinction.

With the intention of getting married in the seventh semester, the couple got married shortly after their theses were successfully completed.

Muhammad Mujib said romance at the university was not an obstacle to achieving success, and the couple was among the students who had received the Vice-Chancellor's Awards and the Dean's Awards for several semesters during their studies at UPM.

"This romantic relationship has encouraged us both to do well in our studies and life while being on campus and find the right person because the right person will fill your growth," he said.

Being active in business himself, Muhammad Mujib mentioned that his wife was also an active student in the Biomedical Club and had been the Academic Exco for the club. Besides, she had led the Zumba team for her college and faculty.

Ainin Farah Hannan said it is essential to find a partner who can motivate, support, and share knowledge with each other. - UPM
