SEREMBAN, Nov 30 - A total of 30 Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) students from the Art of Argumentation (QKT 2101) organised the Hulk’s Brain Gym programme in collaboration with Zenith International School here.
The objective of the programme is to create and instil leadership among students, especially when organising a programme and to provide exposure on public speaking with prudent techniques.
The programme director, Mohamad Rashdan Ahmad Yusof, said the art of argumentation is very important for students in the future.
“With this knowledge, one is able to draw people’s attention when arguing. The purpose of the programme is to shape ordinary people to become extraordinary”, he said.
The efforts made were not only helping students compete in the curriculum, but also in the art of argumentation that can help them to stand out.
The Hulk’s Brain Gym programme is sponsored by Yayasan Hijau Malaysia and is well received by Zenith International School and parents in cultivating and uplifting the art of argumentation.
The students involved were between 11 and 15 years old.
Also participating in the programme were facilitator, Punnithnan Subramaniam, representative of the principal at Zenith International School, Jaciyntha, and UPM supervisory officer, Arbaah. - UPM
